The Finals Open Beta Ends After Counting 7.5 Million Players

October 26, 2023, saw the beginning of The Finals open beta, and within a few days, The Finals reached the maximum capacity on Steam. After hitting 7.5 million active players, Embark Studios has announced the end of open beta.

I liked it. The only issue was the controls feel way too heavy on PS5 and they need a 120fps mode.

I don't get it, how is this game any different from the dozens of other games just like this?

It's so weird how 20 companies can all make the exact same game and 19.5 of them will totally crash and burn and that other half a game get's 7.5 million players day one.

To be fair, ypu didnt actually play it. Otherwise you'd be saying that it at least a refreshing take on the FPS genre. There's absolutely nothing like it, not currently.

This is the only game doing Server side destruction on this scale. at this speed and smooth asf.

One of the best MP games i've played in some time, lots of fun.

I hope more maps, more weather conditions, more modes, tdm with more ppl, ffa, capture the flag. just tons of sht.
