RoboCop: Rogue City Players Are Experiencing Progress-Blocking Bugs

The first-person shooter, RoboCop: Rogue City, has received critical acclaim but does feature a fair share of annoying bugs to deal with.

ZeekQuattro320d ago

Thankfully I haven't had these problems. The most I've had is weird mouth flap glitches and I've thrown people through walls and other structures they clearly weren't meant to go through.

So you have all the news for your article and you even updated it on your page. Then you post the sensational version on N4G.
You posted it yourself: "The subsequent updates could address all of these issues effectively."

But you made this your title: Rogue City Players Are Experiencing Progress-Blocking Bugs

This is how you do that (it's really easy to stay neutral and factual):
RoboCop: Rogue City Players (*MAY BE) Experiencing Progress-Blocking Bugs OR
Recent update may Address Progress-Blocking Bugs due to..... Dude you have a degree. Use it.

You have 20 seconds to comply.

Nacon Blames Pandemic Planning for Crowded Game Releases

From Xfire: "Is Nacon's Head of Publishing making a valid point about the industry being flooded with games, or is this just a way to justify poor performance?"

GameCritic249d ago

I think its not only that but for sure a key part of it

shinoff2183248d ago

Agreed. It definitely is part of it. There's just not much you can do about it. I'll check out the game cause it looked interesting to me and i grew up watching robocop. It's just not something I'm in a rush for, not willing to spend that much money on a fps game. 30 dollar mark is about right for me.

northpaws248d ago (Edited 248d ago )

And the problem is too many people spend money buying cosmetic stuff in free to play games instead of buying full release games.

cloganart248d ago (Edited 248d ago )

And it will only get worse I fear. While we do see all the big GaaS releases fall, the AA and Mobile GaaS that run F2P model and just rob people blind essentially. The AAA bubble is now bursting.

Hopefully this will mean medium sized releases will get bigger focus now. It's becoming impossible to meet the "Gamers want bigger worlds, bigger cinematics, bigger EVERYTHING" standards and not fall apart along the way to meet the expectations of both business needs and the customer.

I buy no cosmetics . My kids ask me for Minecraft stuff but i tell them I’ll buy them a new game or toy instead.

Robocop was released during a gaming period that is normally flooded with games. That October to December is when most heavy hitters release their games. I did pick Robo and loved it

Holiday can be a double edged sword for sure.

Pandemic does play a factor. Plus companies release games as soon as their finished. If they could hold out and time it better it would help but most companies don’t have that luxury.

I am going to buy this game soon. I have been busy and always have a backlog from years past so I don’t buy as many games day 1 as I used to but I do want to play this and will order it soon.
