Review - RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe is a shadow of the game it originated from, despite being a decent entry level park sim
Jas goes for an adrenalin fuelled day out playing Roller Coaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe. Out now on console!
I'd still probably check it out on the cheap but I was reading about it elsewhere and it sounds kinda dumbed down.
With the release of RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, those thrills and dreams may well come true.
"Atari® — one of the world's most iconic consumer brands and interactive entertainment producers — is delighted to announce the best-selling "RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures" is going Deluxe and coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles for the very first time, with the updated version re-launching on Nintendo Switch in 2023." - Atari and Orbit Studio.
Literally the worst Rollercoaster Tycoon game ever made. Planet Coaster has stolen the throne of theme park simulation, considering it was the spiritual successor to Frontier's Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 anyways. Atari drove the Tycoon name into the ground!
**edit worst Rollercoaster Tycoon game if you don't count the abysmal VR game! Ugh, it was so bad. (No Limits 2 wins the award for theme park creation in VR!)
Love the rollcoaster tycoon games. Never played this. Hopefully it comes and addresses your guys complaints.
I think I'm still going to pick this up. What I was reading in the article they had issue with doesn't seem like a big deal, regarding hiring staff, placing lights and benches automatically. My hope with the game since I believe it is a little older cause it mentions a switch one from some time ago is that if there's dlc I hope it's included. I love simulation type games but the enormous amounts of dlc kill em for me. I have a ocd or something about playing incomplete games. If I know there's 100s of dollars of dlc out there I just can't bring myself to play it, looking at you cities skyline.
