The Finals could possibly be the worst thing to happen to MW3

The Finals multiplayer shooter continues to massively grow in popularity, and its eventual release could be the worst thing to happen to MW3.

The destruction is awesome but a lot of the casual CoD crowd won't like the longer TTK in The Finals. I do see this being a very successful GaaS though

CoD is long overdue being toppled. It hasn't been worthy of its success for a long time now.
I'd be willing to let The Finals have the limelight. The beta was far better than I had any expectations of it being.
However I had the same hopes for Apex Legends too. It was a lot more fun than CoD and it stuck around but never to the peak

Play as the tank class, or whatever its called.

Some good things is you can be quite stragetic with your engagements, you don't have to fight enemies right away. More so you wait for an oppertunity to strike around the objectives. The destruction means you can blow the floor from underneat the enemy team and surprise them. Or the walls..or roof, or whole building.

I never heard of the finals until some random article on N4G a few days ago and i'm loving it so far. Reminds me of bad company 2 weirdly enough, like bad company 2 and eh...I dunno..overwatch? Kinda? Unique game.

If they market it right, but even then it won't topple COD. APEX grew in popularity pretty quickly and it didn't topple COD, BF being as recognizable can't even topple COD despite it being a better game conceptually.

I doubt the MW3 devs will be sweating any time soon but I had an absolute blast in the last beta. Been looking for a shooter for a while now that scratches that itch for me and The Finals definitely has that potential.

I just dloaded the beta, played a round, then uninstalled. I get it what it's about but it is lacking character. It feels a little generic.

The controls and time to kill are just wrong. If it can change then it has some hope but this will have quick death otherwise.

Apparently there is already cheats for the game. And the developer is known to not use good anti cheat systems. So who knows.

COD hasn't been good in years I stopped playing after World at War I tried the one with Kevin Spacey and it was too futuristic gave it back to the nephew.

I tried this game, and It's awesome. Great graphics, gameplay, and destructible environments.

I've played the finals beta and honestly it was shit. Time to kill was slightly too long. The game felt really quite generic.
