Baldur's Gate 3 Is The Game You Can Play For Years, Not Starfield

Baldur's Gate 3 might not feature hundreds of planets like Starfield, but it does offer excellent replayability to keep the players invested.

Valkyrye592d ago

I feel for the Xbox crowd, can't even play Baldur's Gate 3 and stuck on Borefield.

GhostScholar591d ago

I can’t speak for anyone else but I’m having a blast with starfield. I’m 200 hours in and have barely touched the main story. It’s my zen game at the moment. I can see someone being bored with it, but I guess it was just a game tailor made for me. Can’t wait to play baldurs gate 3 though.

Crows90591d ago

Tailor made???

It wasn't tailor made...that's the problem

Some people can drink their own urine, some people prefer things like coke or wine, each to their own, if you like crap enjoy I guess.

GhostScholar591d ago

I don’t get why I’m attacked for liking a game lol am I supposed to change what I like so I don’t have teenage kids making fun of me on here lol surely an adult wouldn’t care more about what he hates that what he loves…….or…….

Gamingsince1981591d ago

If you feel like you are attacked by 2 comments that aren't even close to offensive you may need to put the soy milk down and go get a hug from your mum. The games trash most people agree, people saying it is trash shouldn't feel like an attack on you, unless you made the game and then you deserve it.

BrettAwesome591d ago

@notgettinglaidsince1981
You dumb fucking useless shit talking cunt. "Drink urine, like crap". Yeah. Sounds like an attack to me. Why don't you go and get a hug from your imaginary boyfriend or something?

Armaggedon583d ago (Edited 583d ago )

Notice how these people keep kicking Starfield. They are calling it names, picking fun at it. If the game is that ass, just be on your way and play BG3. People are secretly intimidated by Bethesda, because they know Bethesda have the potential to win, but they dont think Beth deserves it. And since you like Starfield , you actually have someone comparing you to a urine drinker. Witness the insecurity.

Wait....its not on Xbox? I legit didn't even know this.

FinalFantasyFanatic590d ago

I think it's suppose to by the end of the year, I think they might be waiting to get it working properly on Series S or something.

ModsDoBetter591d ago

Bit of a dumb article.

People can play any game for years.
I still revisit and replay the original Doom, Resi & Duke Nukem 3D since they were my first games on PS1.

Still play Oblivion and Skyrim to this day. People like different things and I'm sure there are players who like Starfield and not BG3, and vice versa.

Typical game “journalism”.

isarai591d ago

True, to this day the games I've probably put the most into over the years is GTA SA by a rather large margin, and sleeping dogs

Ryuk_2007591d ago

Yawn! Whenever an article about BG3 pops up nobody gives it any attention unless it's taking about Xbox.

shinoff2183590d ago (Edited 590d ago )

You sure about that. I'm sure there's been plenty discussion. Maybe not all but when it released there were a slew of bg3 articles. Can't hit em all. Me I'll be picking it up when the inevitable physical release happens

Good thing star ocean 2 came out.

GamingManiac591d ago

Bitch, Starfield isn't even in the running for GOTY lol

Depends on what you want. One is a ton of RPG potential and different possible gameplay with different classes and expansive stories with companion characters. The other can be a lite-exploration and building SP game if you're into that (honestly, my favorite part of Starfield was collecting ships and selling them).

Crows90591d ago (Edited 591d ago )

I'll say that's the best part...very limited but it was the best part. Having all the ships items crowd your inventory...not so much.

shinoff2183590d ago

I'm not into building things in games unless it's like a city builder theme park type game. I didn't care for anything with the ships, and felt the exploration was lackluster. I was pretty damn hyped for the game to.

MrDead590d ago

Starfield (28,456 In-Game) is not far from Skyrim (22,147 In-Game) for player counts and the games most recent reviews on Steam are at 53%

Baldurs Gate (93,653 In-Game) most recent reviews 96%

Starfield is unpolished, unoptimized, unfinished and broken, it's lost all sense of exploration and adventure from previous Bethesda titles and probably their most restrictive and linear RPGs, there is only really one story path to take. Most disappointing RPG from Bethesda so far.
