Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Review [Capsule Computers]

Travis of Capsule Computers writes:

"It has been nearly three years since CD Projekt Red released the long awaited Cyberpunk 2077 in such a state that many were honestly shocked that the company even thought it was alright to release it in such condition. While our own time with the game was mostly painless it still was hampered through a number of massive issues and over the past few years CD Projekt Red has been working hard to address these problems through various patches, updates, and a proper “next-gen” version of the game. Incremental patches are one thing but now the developer has dropped the full 2.0 update alongside the one and only expansion they have planned for Cyberpunk 2077 in the form of Phantom Liberty. Boasting a fresh coat of paint and refined mechanics alongside tons of new content, is this the Cyberpunk fans have been hoping for for three years?"

Cyberpunk 2077 VR Mod Version15 is a Game Changer

CG writes: As a dedicated Quest 3 user streaming wirelessly, I have had my reservations about Luke Ross’s business model for selling his Alternate Eye Rendering VR Mod. Interesting, but how is this relevant for the PS5 and xbox?

darthv72170d ago

considering the game was made for PS4/XBO and then had Pro/One X enhancements only to be improved by virtue of better hardware in PS5/SX.... The game is already better now than it was at release. Im good with them moving on

RaidenBlack170d ago

They might ... just might ... touch the CP code just once more to enhance for PS6+XboxNext ... but not before.
Doing work just for Pro maybe aint not worth it anymore to them.

RaidenBlack170d ago

Seems like they dont want to touch that Red Engine code anymore ... they're done with CP and Red
All focus towards UE and new projects, for better or worse.

Christopher169d ago

Even more, you know everyone there is learning to move from Red to UE now. They have to set new engine baselines and learn the ins and outs of the engine while developing three games.

This game has a dynamic resolution scale so it will still look a bit better on the Pro.

I'd rather get an other expansion (not going to happen). I'm cool with waiting for Cyberpunk 2.
