I'm so glad Sega doesn't know how to count from 1...

Another Persona 3 release? Again? Awesome...What number would that make this? Number 4? or 5? Fantastic!

Persona 1 and 2? LOL!!! What are even those things? Rumor is they don't even exist...

p1 and p2 arent as popular. or known.
its pretty obvious and even you should know.

You don't say? Outstanding observation. On the plus side, now I understand why P3 and up are the popular ones...

I would love 1 and 2 to get a bit more love, a remaster/port is fine with me, I know those games won't sell like the newer ones. Anyway, it's only the 4th version of Persona 3, lol, I'm just more upset about the pricing on this one.

Persona 3
Persona 3 FES
Persona 3 Portable
Persona 3 Portable Remaster
Persona 3 Reloded

Next up will be 'Persona 3 Overload: Are you Tired Yet? The Want Some More in Your Face Edition'

Persona 1 and 2 does deserve some love, but as gold_drake astute observation revealed, they are just not as popular as the more Anime Persona entries. And if there is anything I've learned from the current Anime/Turned Based fans is that they are only into the popular, cool and hip versions of things.

They down voted the comment simply for implying that SEGA should give the first two entries some love. The audacity!

C'est la vie.

Anyways, Kazuma Kaneko Persona will always be peak Persona.

Persona 3 is where the series started for a lot of people. It still maintained its niche status but exposure grew at P3, and then by P4 it was skyrocketing and became considerably less niche.

The first two did see more attention in their PSP releases, but I'm not sure if they sold well enough to warrant another attempt at re-exposure. There's also the problem now of SEGA having final say since buying ATLUS, and I would figure this is the true culprit behind where their attention is put towards.

Pre Sega Atlus and post Sega Altus are two very different entities.
