It seems like Starfield is designed to be played multiple times, is that appealing? I'm not saying it isn't because I haven't played it but the last thing I want to do after finishing an epic like ES or Fallout is dive straight back in.

Not necessarily designed to be played multiple times, but rather certain concepts of the story are neatly applied to the idea of new game pluses and people role playing in completely different ways from one play through to the other.

There isn’t necessarily a “true” ending after X number of playthroughs, but each one up to number 10 I believe do provide changes to the story (from minor ones to others that can be quite significant)

Its mostly for the main story though, at least from what I’ve seen on YT. The faction quests are more about their already existing diverse paths and not necessarily tied to the new game + mechanic, so you could technically just do the story stuff on other playthroughs if you are interested in seeing the story changes

It's an interesting idea for sure. It'd be wasted on me because it's not the kind of game I'd replay for a long time, but plenty will and it gives them a cool incentive to do so.

I’d probably enjoy that mechanic in Skyrim, but in Starfield progress is a slog, so it isn’t appealing

This game is getting killed by Cyberpunk and Baldur's Gate 3. It's just too dated fand ugly of a game. By this time next year fallout 4 will probably be played more on Steam.

No one gives a crap about Starfield in 2025. I mean seriously, has anyone remembered this game even exists? Lmao

Alos8813d ago

They really aren't. Nothing in Starfield is nearly as iconic as anything from Fallout.

Putte12d ago

Who is even playing Starfield? That was a major let down.
