CD Project RED issues an apology to the Russians after offensive content was found in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
I see no issue here?
There is plenty of issues. Why include regular Russian citizens in their politics?
All text should be changed to "Русский военный корабль, иди нахуй"
Please stop punishing the people of these nations because most of them have ZERO say into these decisions
Tell that to the average german citizen after WW2
If you are a citizen of any country that commits war crimes, mass murder, genocide, and other atrocities. While doing nothing but watching then you are complicit by association in the act. Basically sheep like you should be excused from any kind of atrocities YOUR government commits? Nothing worse than people who sit back and watch but never participate in anything political or government related. Those are always the people that complain about their government when it only affects them personally but never do anything, not even vote. 1 or 2 people can initiate change but you need the masses to bring that change about and if your masses are just sheep or cowards then nothing ever changes. Gotta love it when a nation invading another is seen as a victim. SMH
@DaCajun Oh please, everyone acting like Russia is the first country ever to go to war. Do you mind telling me were you are from? I'm sure your flag is also tainted with the blood of the innocent.
@DaCajun Ah yes, the good ole teach hateful things today, and act surprised and shock to see when some random act of it happens and makes news years later when everything is over. The vicious cycle of hypocrisy.
There's no reason to offend regular citizens who had nothing to do with the war. If anything I've seen a lot of Russians being against the war. If it was against Russian politicians that would be fine. But regular citizens? That's messed up imo.
You'd think CDPR would sympathize with Ukraine since Poland has been invaded by Russia before but i guess they got over it?
There are a ton of people in Russia that just want to feed their families and not worry about war. But none of this has to do with a videogame.
Video games are art that reflect the world. The language chosen was Russian for a reason.
How's any of this going to stop them?
"The language chosen was Russian for a reason." You are correct. (edit: my response to this statement was wrong.) "But none of this has to do with a videogame." This isn't a take on art. It is about the mistreatment of people that have nothing to do with the war and just want to play a game and so on.
Poland was also invaded by Ukraine in WWII .
Probably the only offensive element there is the Rusnia language use, the rest aren't offensive and one is just historical reference.
I knew there’d be some azov Nazis pulling this nonsense prior to release when the cyberpunk subreddit got overrun with NAFO trolls.
Lol dude says nazis like russia doesn't employ nazis lol
Russia does employ Nazis… we’re not supporting them with my tax dollars though. Giving white nationalist groups military hardware is wrong no matter how hard you try to spin it. Let Nazi state 1 and Nazi state 2 handle their own shite.
@TheLigX Sure buddy...are you against the cops in America? Ya know by some people America has white nationalist groups..ya know the same people who are bullied by white Supremacists point at police and proud boys...but something tells me you don't think those groups have anything to do with white supremacy So Imma be real and say you don't actually care about white supremacy. After all we have more white supremists in our congress than ukraine does, but the people who whine about not helping ukraine cause of nazi shit despite having a Jewish president which them neonazis love apparently never want to complain about the nazi shit in america. But if we wanna talk about international danger and why supporting ukraine is better than letting russia run them over. Because you'd be a fool to think russia would stop at ukraine or this is just 2 countries handling their shit...when we invaded countries it wasnt 2 countries handling their shit it was one blatantly disregarding the sovereignty of another country. It's wrong when we do it and and we should support people defending their home especially when we promised said people.
Sounds more like bad quality control. The blame lies on the studio who did the Ukrainian port and release.
Kind of odd cause Russians themselves largely have nothing to do with the actions of their government. The same as Americans with the war on terror. Like I get they wanted to say something or it snuck its way in. But Russians could just like games in dire times. It is what it is though
Oh, poor Russia again 🤦♂️
Most of Eastern Ukraine speaks primarily Russian, yet the current Kiev regime is trying to tackle that. These are facts btw.
"These remarks were not written by CD PROJEKT RED" Who wrote these? NPC's?
Language localization team, probably.

No need for that, someone who's nice and knowledgeable answered me :)
