Mortal Kombat 1 story DLC will be released in the near future, as Ed Boon promises to support the game longer than Mortal Kombat 11
Mortal Kombat 1 is a big step forward from MK 11 in my opinion. I hated that you had to choose which specials characters could use in battle with MK 11. They just REALLY need to sort out that issue with menus, intros, outros, fatalities, x-rays, etc. being locked to 30 FPS. It's so stupid on PC going from constant 60 FPS to 30 just because they decided to tie the animations to a locked 30 in those scenarios...
Gameplay is better but the microtrans are atrocious. The unlockables and extra modes are easily the worst out of any MK
And the story is sucks bad with an attempt at making some kind of Avenger's Endgame battle!
I thought it was alright. It was boring because Liu Kang is boring. That’s “his universe” so everything is watered down. I kinda like the idea exploring every “titan universe” assuming they all created life in their image. The Shang universe would have been much more interesting. It seems like a good “extra mode” like invasions more than an actual story though I can agree on that.
The story is the worse I've ever seen. It's right there with "Superman is evil" bad for Injustice.
The multiverse thing is so overused and is nothing but an excuse for lazy writers. Everything and everyone can be killed but comeback and then at the end of the story, when everything is a complete mess, just reset and start all over again.
I wasn’t bored, that makes it alright in my book lol. The lack of unlockables, menu bugs and weird amateur mistakes make the story seem decent and polished. I can’t hate because other areas are so bad. The store shenanigans are the worst. Unforgivable in my view. I would have given them money for a fair trade, instead they are holding back content to make me pay me for it again and no.
The multiverse escape in general is super lazy I agree. Destructive as well. They just made every MK ending canon with that move lol. None of it matters, they basically killed the entire storyline of MK. The original characters all became titans and have their own universe is a cool side content mode imo. I think the original Titan havik is the story dlc which could be interesting. Not libertarian Dave havik in LK universe. A prequel with the great Kung Lao would have been more interesting imo.
Good choice on this one. It will be a completely different game at the end. Certain modes are still blocked and it just seems unfinished in many ways. The core is fun though and the ultimate edition will be a good buy. It’s just a shame how the early buyers are squeezed for it.
Most of the boxed sales came from PlayStation even though it does not show %, Starfield already dropped out of the top 10 to 19, ouch.
Hogwarts Legacy is really enjoying it's sales in UK. I wonder how is it fairing in US.

Great start I'd say for lies of P, 3rd for a pretty niche game from a relatively unknown developer, pretty decent.
I've not seen any advertising for it here in the UK either, couple adverts on YouTube but that's about it.
I'd also go as far to say that 7th isn't bad for Payday 3, considering I imagine most people would get it digitally, I mean, still not the greatest but not as bad as I thought, I didn't even know it was releasing boxed to be honest.
Same with Lies of P, I reckon most would have got it digitally so for it to be in 3rd, great launch.
