Those who are feeling skeptical about Sonic Superstars will likely find themselves surprised by this one. Not only is a solid Sonic game, but it's also bringing a lot fun fun, new ideas to a version of Sonic that's already seen a lot of innovation in the past several years.
VGChartz's Daniel Parker: "Overall, there's too much wrong with Sonic Superstars. Despite the platforming physics being fine, and some of the soundtrack fantastic, it's simply not worth the asking price. You'd be better off listening to the game's soundtrack on YouTube while playing the far superior Sonic Mania instead. Younger children might find some enjoyment here, but it's not a game for everyone - and definitely not one for me. Sonic Superstars is ultimately nothing short of a major letdown."
Seems a little harsh while it's not the best 2d sonic game it's not the worst either I feel it's somewhere between a 7 and a 8
wow.
im certainly not a fan of their 3D 2D stuff but ... damn. harsh lol
its definetly not a 3.5

Sega's executives discussed the possible sales of the next numbered Persona game, the slow start of Sonic Superstars, expectations for Metaphor Re:Fantazio, mobile games, and the use of Generative AI.
With the last one being so well received I'd up the amount that it'd sell, especially in a year. Just commit to a real multiplat release, and proper advertisement and bring out a game that isn't broken and word of mouth will do the rest.
£55 on the Switch, I'll be waiting for a big price drop.
