It’s been 20 years since one of the first surprisingly good Simpsons game was released.
A "The Simpsons: Hit & Run" remake has just been completed, but due to possible copyright concerns, you can't actually play it yourself.
It's time for Homer to get back behind the wheel.
No, thanks. They need to make a new game instead. They could do alot more with the advanced tech.
We’ve been asking for this forever and while I would love it, I doubt we’ll get it.
Chuck it onto the “needs a remake” list alongside MGS etc.
I'd love it but it's in licensing hell by all accounts. Seems rights are tied up everywhere including now defunct companies.
I'd prefer a new Simpsons game. Hit and run while fun relied to much on racing. Eh. To this day I would love for them to just make a straight up open world Simpsons game. So much could be done it would be dope af. Last I knew ea had game rights. Good luck
With emphasis on the planet and that these days. A captain planet open world game could be dope af to.
No thank you.
I think this is massively viewed with rose tinted glasses.
I picked up a PS2 again a couple of years back and Hit&Run was one of the games I got alongside it. Yeah…rose tinted glasses.
DualShockers Writes "The time has come for The Simpson's Hit & Run 2, here's why..."
I kinda hate this whole "it needs this, not this" stuff
y'know more than one thing can be done? it's not like the simpsons has a law about 1 game per generation
Nah. Remake first
Seeing it expanded upon, bigger, all the maps joint together, more skins and vehicles from the newer Simpson seasons which have came out would be fantastic
If they do a sequel they can improve on the map and again expand while also including Shelbyville
This is what I've always thought. They could do so much more with a new game. I'll never understand why gamers want to buy old games repeatedly instead of new ones.
Yeah this was a good game. If I had to make any minor complaints it would be that the game could've done with more missions and the world being a bit more open, and add some more side stuff to do, other than that it was a fun game. And because of the cartoony colourful graphics it looked better than Vice City.
If there's a sequel or remake they would only need to add the things I said above along with some refinements and better graphics, the rest is pretty much fine as it is.
I'd love a sequel. They could do so much more than they could in the original.
This is one of those games that really needs a remaster.
