Modern Warfare 3 players hyped as Activision confirms the addition of more 6v6 maps

Modern Warfare 3 publisher Activision has promised the addition of more 6v6 maps once Season 1 and Season 2 roll around.

How can anybody be hyped about this DLC?

HC CoD players, maybe? I've been playing the series since CoD1, and I'm a fan of it. Even the MW2 disgrace doesn't dampen my excitement for the new game. There is no single FPS game that can beat even CoD's worst game, and there never has been.

Do you think I'm talking about the story of the CoD series? Even though I was talking about the story, it wouldn't have many competitors anyway, especially Cold War is in a special place for me. But what I'm talking about is a Multiplayer game... How many people do you think follow a series like CoD for the story mode? We are playing this game for the MP side, who cares about a 6 hours story? Apart from a few rare FPS games (Dishonored, Prey, Deus Ex etc.), I never cared about the story of any FPS games. Killing things aimlessly is a complete waste of time.

Note: Only a few of the games you mentioned are games that can be taken seriously, like; Bioshock (only Infinite), F.E.A.R (1), Bulletstorm and Doom (3). Other games never matter to me, and none of them have CoD like weapon mechanics, shooting feelings etc. anyway.

Gameplay wise were Battlefield 3 and 4 a lot better than COD.

Ha... A game that is losing player base like crazy, cause its just a cheater fest, its still relevant because the streamers which most are actually cheaters themselves anyways ...

Even in its best years, BF wasn't a CoD competitor. This was just a conflict that people used to engage in because there were no other AAA MP FPS on the market. The only similarity between BF and CoD is that they are both FPS, and in BF 2042, EA is trying to make its games similar to CoD mechanics. However, when it comes to weapon feel, although BF is a series that I like very much, it falls behind CoD. Although the last successful BF game we saw was BF1 and we have never seen a quality BF again, and we probably won't.

Hacks and cheats? CoD has been a console game for many, many years. Frankly, the PC part is only cared about by the developers for Warzone. I have been turning off my Cross-Play for years and I don't even care what happens on the PC. If you're talking about Warzone, Warzone is not a CoD. Warzone is the reason why CoD has become infamous since 2019. What we call real CoD is the MP part and Ranked part of the game. Warzone is just a disgraceful piece of content made to attract kids and make money from them and needs to disappear immediately.

I've never really liked any cod maps since probably black ops 2 lol. I know mw3 is just a real huge copy and paste but I think its great they're bringing back all OG mw2's maps. I still think they should've just remastered OG mw2 but whatever I guess.
