Today Nihon Falcon shared a lot of sweet gameplay of the upcoming action JRPG Ys X: Nordics, showing multiple aspects of the game.
NIS America will release Falcom-developed action RPG Ys X: Nordics for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG this fall in the west, the publisher announced.
F that’s a long time! Maybe the translation will be better! I’ll probably play it in Japanese with subs anyway but with games I really like I’ll play the sub first and the dub after. I’ll gladly buy it this fall physically on PS5 despite the long wait.
Why can't they start release their games along side Japan like all other JRPG. Even Tales of games I don't have to wait anymore.
That is because Falcom refuses to let them. They don't allow localizations until AFTER the final game releases in Japan.
One of 2023's best games remains exclusive to Japan... for now.
It most likely going to come to North America the Last Y's games have been coming here.
Still odd falcom puts in hardly any effort to bring these games over quicker in the states withholding script from english translation...making us wait at least a year from the game's japan release...
I loved VIII but couldn't get into IX. The prison island setting just didn't do it for me, it was the complete opposite of everything I loved about VIII. Really looking forward to this one though.
Falcom has released new information and screenshots for Ys X: Nordics introducing characters Grimson Balta, Gunnar, Hugill, and Flair Rall, and the “Recapture Battle” system.
Hopefully they release the NA version not too long after or at least offer an English dub version for Asia at launch and I would end up buying both.

I hope these stages and time limits were done for the demo only. I still have to finish 9, love the games but falcom need a bigger budget to upgrade their engine, these games still look like ps2 era graphics lol
