Developer Pocketpair shared new trailers of its upcoming Pokemon-style game Palworld, showing two of the "pals" that we'll be able to ally with.
Eurogamer writes: "While a reason for Japan's PS5 omission was not given, it is fair to surmise it has something to do with the fact Nintendo is suing Pocketpair for patent infringement. Pocketpair claims it's unaware of which patents it has infringed, though recent reports suggest it's a patent to do with how players throw Pokéballs."
Couldn't they do an update and replace those spheres with crystals?
Palworld, with over 25 million players worldwide, is finally available on PS5!
Fight, farm, build and work alongside mysterious creatures called ""Pals"" in this completely new multiplayer, open world survival and crafting game!
Would love it if Sony actually helpled the devs fight Nintendo, and Nintendo loses and was humiliated.
Palworld Mobile has been rumored for a long time, and now we know that Krafton has struck a licensing deal for the monster-taming adventure.
This is what Nintendo fears. It will hit their Pokémon go community AND consoles. Change the ball system and move on.
To be honest. I think these two companies are working together. Their companies represent the same nation, so global money coming in is good for everyone.
