Console Creatures writes, "The BioShock film at Netflix is still happening but with a reduced budget."
It's 10 years too late for a BioShock film. The world of Rapture would have been perfect for a film. It's actually a good candidate for proper utilization of 3D, for increased depth rather than bullshit popping out of the screen. It could really show off the underwater city that way. But BioShock as a brand is so irrelevant these days that a film just doesn't make sense. Especially considering it would need a big budget and top notch effects to really take advantage of the IP.
Netflix greenlights anything, so that shows me very little faith in the project. Enough to just crap something out as they're, more and more, known to do.
I'll laugh if it turns out to be better then the Borderlands movie
Super Mario Odyssey was the Nintendo Switch’s debut for the franchise, and we saw our red-hatted friend don a new piece of gear that doubled as his new sidekick, Cappy. With so many characters getting some prominent screen time, Luigi felt completely uninvited to this party. That’s why we can’t help but think that Nintendo has something special cooked up for him in Super Mario Odyssey 2.
Games Asylum: "Well, this is uncanny. This school management sim bears a startling resemblance to Two Point Campus, especially when it comes to planning and decorating rooms. Be sure to add a window and a radiator, along with a plant or rubbish bin. Indeed, certain aspects are almost identical – it’s just like revisiting Two Point Campus, only something is…off. It’s the visual style that leads to the uncanny valley feeling, using a low-poly PlayStation/Saturn aesthetic. An odd choice, considering the 32-bit consoles didn’t have a great amount of management sims. The PS1 did have Theme Hospital though – with Two Point Hospital being Campus’ predecessor, so we guess we can give it a pass on its artistic intent."
I almost bought this yesterday lol. Then I remembered I have 1000 games I need to play and I would probably touch this once.
PlayStation outsells XBOX 3:1. That’s after news of their Activision acquisition, with Starfield around the corner and with GamePass. Damn.
1.2mil units in July! just wow! can't imagine how the numbers will be when Spidey 2 comes.
PS5 vs Xbox
3:1 Worldwide
1.5:1 in the Americas.
3.5:1 in Europe
16:1 in Asia
I'm calling it now 50m sold by new year for ps5.
The PlayStation brand is just to big. To well adored imo. Still selling extremely well even with gamepass, Activision deal, starfield in a week or so.
Can see it selling 2+ million in October due to Spiderman.
As a gamer 1st who happens to favor Playstation more i feel these articles don't represent console war because like Playstation promo say I fought the war and the war is done. Phil Spencer said himself in ign interview at gamescom" we look at the success of xbox is how many ppl is playing Xbox games " its not about actual Xbox sales anymore that battle is over
