Well after reading through it I would say it sounds like a complete load of corporate BS.

Meanwhile a bunch of rich EA execs will get huge bonuses for keep the numbers looking good.

thorstein628d ago

Absolutely.

Average pay there is 80 -115k.

350 employees.

2021 revenue was 140 million.

30 million stock bonus for EA's CEO last year. His salary is 20 million.

The industry needs to unionize.

neutralgamer1992628d ago

EA games= Kill the studio

Not sure why people keep selling their studios to EA. I guess money is the only factor considered

Ddavis7690629d ago

The majority of them are coming from the union contractors........shocker

LordoftheCritics629d ago

Bound to happen.

Old Bioware doesn't exist.
Old Blizzard doesn't exist as well. That's why we have Season Pass Simulator 4.

Christopher629d ago

250-ish employees working on two major RPG titles and no third-party QC team. Sounds like a recipe for success.

jznrpg629d ago (Edited 629d ago )

They should use the QC team from Redfall. They will score it double digits higher than reality.

Crows90628d ago (Edited 628d ago )

@stanjara

You must've missed the part where devs were voicing concerns. Higher ups ignored it.

With redfall. Xbox got the final say. They chose to release an unfinished mess.

Relientk77628d ago

The Lord of the Rings Gollum game. Clearly, they have the best QC team in gaming.

More games in development you say, Breath of Fire 3 and 4 remastered collection? Because that is what I am waiting for.

gold_drake13h ago(Edited 13h ago)

4 just came out for pc again.

not a remaster tho

CrimsonWing698h ago(Edited 8h ago)

Man, of everything they have remastered, I’d give them all up if it meant just getting these 2 remasters.

gold_drake13h ago

look, capcom has found a sweet spot for their games.

the RE engine is pretty amazing.

Goodguy0111h ago

I wonder if they'll continue to make any new ace attorney and megaman games. They should definitely revisit breath of fire at some point, remaster em, pixel remaster. Please, something capcom.

neutralgamer19929h ago

I think they will continue to utilize all their IP's. They have found how to succeed and that's by making fun games

CrimsonWing6912h ago

What about the Yakuza series and Sonic?

I like what's on their legacy IP list, but there are still many more franchises they could revive. Shining Force and Chakan come to mind.

UE5 based this time

robtion1d 4h ago

That said, I think Stellar Blade looks better than most current UE5 games.

Relientk771d 5h ago

If Stellar Blade is anything to go by, yeah I am hyped to see this new game.

robtion1d 3h ago

I just saw the Stellar Blade director just finished Clair Obscur (96hrs playtime). He clearly has good taste. Gives me some confidence concerning their new game.

Notsofast10h ago(Edited 9h ago)

he did make Stellar Blade based on inspiration of Nier Automata God of War 4, and Horizon Zero Dawn so if he makes a Stellar Blade 2 I could see it reaching Final Fantasy 7 remake levels

jznrpg1d 4h ago

I hope it’s single player.

robtion1d 4h ago

Let's hope so. If not I have no interest in it.

robtion1d 4h ago

Very interested to see what they follow Stellar Blade up with. Easily my GOTY 2024.

Levii_921d 3h ago

I have 120 hours in this game..

Astro Bot was mine easily but Stellar Blade is right behind it and then Silent Hill 2.

robtion1d 3h ago

Yeah I have around 260 hours. I also loved the Silent Hill 2 remake and Space Marine 2.
