Robert Zak of DualShockers Writes "I’ve played many of Larian’s games over the years, but I can only say that I became a full Larianite with the Original Sin series, which properly integrated co-op play into their campaigns. I played through both in their entirety in split-screen with my partner, and can legitimately say at this point that they made the pandemic bearable. I still remember how the first game let you play rock-paper-scissors with your partner (skewed towards whoever had better ‘Persuasion’) to decide whose dialogue decision won out in a given situation, while Original Sin 2 would go so far as to let players screw each other in their bids to become the Divine."
Upcoming custom campaign Path To Menzoberranzan is one of the most ambitious Baldur's Gate 3 mods, and now you can help create an NPC for it.
Before starting a new playthrough, it's important to get acquainted with some cardinal sins of playing Baldur's Gate 3 that every player should know.
Baldur's Gate 3 gave the best thematic yet traditionally diverse experience. And no wonder why it is so engaging.
A hotfix for Baldur's Gate 3 dropped and slightly improved the Circle of Stars Druid. Read this article to see what has been changed.
This article sounds dumb honestly, so you complain because the game doesn't automatically know which audio you want to prioritize, so your solution is map audio priority to the right stick? Yeah cause that won't be confusing and abused. And then you are mad because the game gives your freedom to split and take on important tasks separate, so you complain that all dialog and cut scenes are not shared? I think it's cooler that you can do so without disrupting each other.
Keep complaining about dumb garbage like this, and devs will continue to never try to implement split-screen
The only major complaint I have with split screen is performance and visual drop. Though I guess it is inherent to all the couch co-op games. The game itself is 10/10 though.
Honestly, I don't understand why you would play a game like this in split screen. Player A goes into battle while player B is romancing some character or has sex with a bear? Good luck keeping your focus on the battlefield....
Local co-op I can understand and could be fun (like Broforce or Alienation e.g.) but split screen?
