COD players will be able to harness their inner Agent 47, as the Modern Warfare 3 campaign features Open Combat Missions that sound a lot like Hitman 3.
COG: We've played Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and it truly represents some of the best (and worst) of the Call of Duty franchise.
Pure performance is what separates Series X and PS5 from Microsoft's junior Xbox, especially in 120Hz gameplay. Starting at 60Hz to begin with though, the good news is PS5 and Series X are typically rock solid in their delivery of each mission. There are exceptions as always and certain points in the level do drop into the high 50s, if briefly, while Series X also stutters during autosave checkpointing, which PS5 does not. Overall, PS5 is a touch more consistent than its Xbox counterpart, but not to any kind of game-changing degree.
Yet a majority of Xbox Series owners own the S. It's only going to get worse as we get deeper into this generation. :\
another win for the worlds most powerful console. also to note only 25% of xbox players are actually on Series X which means 75% are playing a 720p upscaled to 1440p ouch...
There’s still fun to be had in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, but this year’s entry feels like a stopgap while we wait for the next major release.
I’m playing through CoD: Cold War now (because of PS+) and it has some stealth missions. Imma tell you that CoD makes for a clunky stealth game. It’s also not what I want from CoD. I play a game like CoD when I want to stop thinking and shoot stuff.
I assume Sledgehammer has MGSV-esque aspirations, and the stealth focus isn’t being forced on them.
I hope they succeed, but I’m totally not pre ordering.
Shows that they are running out of ideas with a franchise that is milked yearly like one of EA's sports games.
