Adding motion control is the major change in the New Play Control version of Mario Power Tennis. Siliconera is not getting it until March, but since Japan gets it next week Nintendo outlined the new control scheme on the Wii de Asobu Mario Tennis GC page.

Although I'm really happy to see Pikmin 2 come out for the Wii with updated controls. I know original GameCube copies are relatively expensive so this could potentially bring down the price of that although I find that unlikely. It will make the game much more readily available to gamers, so that's always a plus!
Unfortunately, I don't have a Wii to play it on. I think I'm just biding my time until I can get one for about $50 or so and then go crazy on cheap games.
XMNR: Nintendo announced two additions to its Nintendo Selects line of games for the Nintendo Wii on Monday. Both Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin 2 will receive the red box and value priced treatment while two other games, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Donkey Kong Country Returns will both receive permanent price drops
hopefully this is an engaging control scheme.Topspin sucked and wisports i dont like because of the inability to move your mii by yourself.
