Activision has today announced that Call of Duty’s anti-cheat software, Richochet, has managed to ban over 14,000 accounts for cheating in the last day alone on Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. This news comes after the company’s continued push to hinder cheaters’ experience with the recent Modern Warfare entry and popular Battle Royale mode.

As you stated, ABK employees have been accusing Kotick of negatively influencing the development of COD MW3 (2023) and Overwatch 2. I recall in 2021/2022 that there were reports that the annual development cycle of CoD was going to be disrupted. MW3 was either not intended for a 2023 release, or it was expected to be an expansion for MW2.
MW3 damaged the reputation of COD? Not the last three games that came before it? CW, VG and MW2 were terrible and WZ2 ruined a lot of of what people liked about WZ. MW3 has fixed nearly every issue that we're problems in the last couple of games and WZ now played a lot more like OG WZ than WZ2. The poor reviews were mainly down to the awful campaign which is justified TBF.
My main gripe with COD are the skins which don't belong in CODs asthetic but it's past the point of no return now.
I loving cod this yr much better than 2 it just the new thing to hate mw3 it's still sold more than any game this yr

Call of Duty is similar to McDonald's. The commoners will stop and eat here daily while the educated and contributing members of society will drive on by to the more healthy options with significantly better quality.
It's The campaign and only the campaign that is lacking. All the multiplayer stuff is great in Modern Warfare 3. Alot better then MW 2

This is correct. The use the term fans because its more divisive. Other times they use the term to be dismissive of real issues because they can always be attributed to the whines of a 'fanbase'. You may not realize this but every title, is designed to be be a clickbait as possible. The titles do not represent anything resembling objective truth and are often designed to hide the real story in place of a exaggerated placeholder.
Videogamer is not unique here but it is especially disheartening when you realize that they DO NOT CARE about videogame news at all. They ONLY care about cramming as much ads up you ass as possible. MY adblocker is shows that the site will carpet bomb your browser with THOUSANDS of ads/ad trackers per session.
They are an ad portal not a gaming site. The titles reflect that.

man im so SICK of COD EVERY year.. and now its hard to tell them apart.. i saw MW3 multiplayer footage and i SWORE it was MW2.. and the campaign has become a convoluted mess of slow, plodding missions and exposition. ..no thanks.

MW3 multiplayer is a copy/paste of MW2 multiplayer. The minimal amount of new maps and guns ( if any ) and a shiny new 70$ price sticker. Casual don't care and Office 365 users already paid the 69 billion for Activision, so Microsoft don't care either.
Would like to know the split between pc & consoles. Imagine it's mostly pc but not sure.

Cheaters are pathetic. It’s even worse when they cheat while streaming on Twitch to look good and get paid doing it. I find it hilarious when they accidentally reveal their cheating software running in the background and try to play it off.
I knew it! Clearly I only lose due to hackers, my elite skillz reign supreme....actually I suck at COD. My old hands and reflexes can't keep up with those twitchy kids. Glad they're getting the cheaters out though.
What's the point of cheating in a mp game? To make people believe your the best but your not? Normally cheats are used to finish hard games...
