VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "When you look at it from a bird’s eye view, Crash Team Rumble faces treacherous headwinds. Release schedule, marketing, invasive live-service shenanigans, and an unfamiliar template for this franchise have all coalesced into this unknown entity; and yet, the template finds firm footing. There's a genuinely interesting expansion of what’s come before while still capturing the tonal quirkiness of yore. But even when looking past the nagging corporate elements, there are still enough gameplay frustrations to diminish what are otherwise some pleasant accomplishments. To translate into Crash’s language: Toys for Bob scraped its way to the finish line, but missed a few crates along the way."
A Crash 5 project featuring Spyro also got axed.
The fact we almost got a new spyro game ... 😭
Activision really hates the Spyro fans.
It, alongside Crash 4, should've launched on Switch day one. It's a cartoon animal platformer, I don't care what the Switch specs are, Switch should be a priority
To celebrate Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy's milestone of selling through a whopping *20 million units globally, Activision is kicking off the summer by offering players a huge discount on Crash Bandicoot™ titles and bundles for PS4 and PS5 platforms!
Nsane numbers. Can we not get a current patch for the trilogy and CTR 60fps and/or 4K? And might as well release a PC port for NF while you're at it, make it happen!
Crash Team Rumble will be recieving its final content update on March 4, following the news that Toys for Bob is going independent.
Good. This game was a waste of time for them
I bet they are glad they are allowed to move on
No way this was their idea to make this kind of game
