Capcom's newest live-service bid is available now, and despite some solid action, results are a bit mixed. Here's what we think happened.
The next title update for co-op dinosaur shooter Exoprimal will bring a wealth of Mega Man themed content to the game.
The Exoprimal Monster Hunter collaboration features an awesome Rathalos boss fight that proves the game has some life left.
If it's dino fighting you are after, then Exopromal provides it. And with the arrival of Season 3 content comes all new opportunities, mostly focused on new gear, additional bosses and a collaboration with Monster Hunter.
I already forgot this game exists and its in season 3 already? Other Capcom games need 3 years for that.
Live service tells it all
Honestly it seems like the PVP and GAAS aspects just made it all crumble apart. It would've been a solid game if it stuck to being a straightforward co-op pve game like Monster Hunter is.
It wasn't Dino Crisis.
Many of us just want solid SP games, not GAAS stuff …
So we automatically just shrug and skip releases like these.
