Remnant 2 Review - IGN

Where Remnant: From The Ashes was a strong first draft, Remnant 2 is a revolutionary sequel and a sterling manifesto for the looter-shooter soulslike.

Pre ordered the game! First one was a gem :)

As did I. I missed the first. So I'm excited to experience what made this series a gem to play

Early reviews seem positive enough for me.

I really like a lot of what they did to evolve this game to make it even more different from other souls-likes.

soulslike games are becoming the new battle royale

Two genres that continue to evolve (slowly but still) and continue to pull insane player numbers. What's the issue? Do you get this upset when game 23,048 features a TDM mode? Or when a racer features a track you've raced hundreds of times before on another game? The genre might be the same but none of them play the same.

Nope I don't disagree with you.... however, it's a big gamble for studios to make soulslike games as they are not very newbie friendly and statistically most people don't even finish them. I find that people that like this genre are VERY picky about how they play so if they are not top notch they hit the bargain bin quickly. This is a good one though.

ACG review sold me on it, but I already really liked the first one. Now I’m just going to get it at launch instead of waiting 😁

ACG is my favorite reviewer! He is funny and extremely detailed in his talking points on games. A NO BS review! No sponsored bullcrap like he always say.

How to Unlock Polygun in Remnant 2
