This should be really good. It's going to make me miss my aim controller though

I never played the original but the movement speed in all the trailers is really putting me off this

The original felt good but I know what you mean; if movement is sluggish in a VR game it just doesn't work. In a traditional console shooter I can understand devs wanting guns to feel like they "have weight," in the sense that you can't just spin around on a dime. Killzone 2 is the best example of this being done well I can think of off the top of my head. But in VR, I need my character's movement to match mine, or the whole effect is off. That's why I couldn't play that Walking Dead Saints and Sinners game for more than a few minutes; my arms and gun in VR lagged behind my actual movement so significantly that it just wasn't fun at all.

Missed out. First one was cool. Especially with Aim. Even offline against the AI as they got better at attacking you.

But it did move at a slower, tactical, strategic speed. And not balls out COD speed with no weight. I think the team was going more for realism. Even in its looks compared to other console VR shooters.

Lol, maybe I'm becoming an old fart, but excessive violence in VR seems to bother me more than in flat games. Feels more visceral when you're looking a person in the eyes before mutilating them.

By no means am I trying to be a prude and saying these games shouldn't exist. I just play them more sparingly, need more breaks. I need some beautiful, refreshing & relaxing VR experiences too to balance them out so I don't feel so heavy.
