Coming November 19, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the next installment in the Microsoft Flight Simulator franchise. It is the most ambitious consumer flight simulator ever undertaken, designed to take advantage of the latest technologies in simulation, cloud, machine learning, graphics and gaming. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 goes beyond merely operating the aircraft; it will allow simmers to pursue their dream of an aviation career.
Day one for me. This and Astrobot are my most anticipated games this year.
I hope this time the game feels more like a game, with more things to do, like missions and objectives. It's what made the current Flight Simulator a bit stale at times. I liked the bush trips, but other than that, there wasn't much to hold my interest.

Still no VR mention for 2024. MS Flight Sim is in my Top 3 VR experiences on any VR platform.... this better support VR, at least in the future roadmap!!
It would be nice for them to actually clarify this then, because the word amongst a lot of the community in a lot of places is that it's not expected at launch.
I wonder if MS will bring this one to PS5. Maybe they have crunched the numbers and feel it's not worth it for them. The development time and money to port it to PS5 might not be feasible if they think it might not sell well, considering it's a "simulator"
Aerosoft announced that its long-awaited Airbus A330 has been delayed again and will arrive for Microsoft Flight Simulator's successor, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
