It’s strong and it’s the truth.

Terry_B723d ago

As a fighting game player since 1991 and someone who played hundreds of fighting games I..strongly disagree.

SF 2 and 3 were indeed a revolution and an evolution for the whole genre, but the latest parts of the series including SF6 are not groundbreaking in any form ...or wait..except maybe that no other fighting game had as many dlc characters as Street Fighter 5.

@terry
As a fighting game player since 1991 and someone who played hundreds of fighting games I still say it’s the truth. And it seems the majority in the FGC agrees. Gameplay is well thought out and amazing. Graphics are gorgeous. Sf6 improved in almost every way compared to games like sf2,3,4 and 5. Online is a treat. Training mode is one of the best ever. Low input delay, the game just feels too good. Add to that some decent single player content and yeah you could call this the next evolution.

I think sf6 will be the king of fighter this generation no pun intended.

CrimsonWing69724d ago

So, um, how do you get classic costumes?

anast724d ago

I think it's a grind or pay deal, but I am not sure.

Ninver724d ago

It's ridiculous they aren't included. We are talking about classic here. It should be mandatory.

Terry_B723d ago

by playing the game..a lot. or to pay for them.

J-DARKnes724d ago

Loving the game so far, only thing I'm not digging like most modern fighters is the auto combo like mechanics. But I guess it gets more casuals to play it.

delano1984723d ago

Modern controls are optional. And they have disadvantages compared to classic controls.

Does Denuvo still have access to the OS kernel?

Capcom reveals its PC game sales overshadow console, and it's only growing

The earnings reports of Capcom's Fiscal year 2024 showcase the growth of PC over console, with 60% of game sales being made on the former.

Vits13h ago

What’s interesting is that, given how well their games sell, it’s very likely most of them fall into the 25/75 revenue split bracket. The larger ones, like Monster Hunter, are in the 20/80 bracket.

So even accounting for the vastly superior regional pricing on PC, I wouldn’t be surprised if revenue-wise from digital sales, both platforms are close, or if PC is ahead as well.

neutralgamer199233m ago(Edited 31m ago)

Yes PC is the biggest platform and it has definitely improved as a home console of sort plug and play. It's the only platform with actual freedom for gamers with modding. I was a console gamer for over 38 years and now I only play on Pc. Whether you are buying pre-built or building it yourself it's now easier than ever before to jump in

And my experience with pc gamers has been excellent, they are helpful with any questions on pc boards

Make every game available on Steam by default. The consoles are secondary

It will be the last Nintendo console with any physical games anyway.

gold_drake1d 3h ago

are u fking kidding me lol

why would the code be expiring

Yi-Long15h ago

Switch 2 really went from a ‘Day 1 Must Buy’ to a ‘Might pick one up some day in the future’, because of all the anti-consumer decisions Nintendo has made for their new console …

jjb19814h ago

I think about lot of it had to do with the amount of piracy that is going on with the Switch. Its like they want the hackers to try and pull the ROMS from the system itself versus just dumping it from a physical media. It just sucks that it had come to this point. Nintendo will keep Nintendo-ing.

Inverno4h ago

Modders are gonna hit the Switch 2 hard, and piracy is gonna be even higher on it than the first. That or 3rd party support will dry out sooner than later when enough people realize publishers don't wanna put in effort with physical releases on the system. People underestimate the casual consumer, when they feel screwed over they won't stick around like the fanboys. And with the astronomical prices of Switch 2 games I honestly can't see this succeed in the way Nintendo expects it to.

Well we already know where the review scores are going to be for this one. Who knows how his game is going to be but the narrative has been set and everybody is running with it so expect some pretty low reviews.

This is definitely not a day one for me and I'll wait for it to go on sale one day. Which probably won't be too long LOL.

isarai3h ago

This game releases in 13 days and we still don't really have a clear idea on what it is exactly. Everytime a game releases without some extended gameplay to show us what the actual loop looks like it turns out they were hiding a turd. I hope im wrong, we could use more urban open world games to at least give us something other than GTA alone, but the marketing for this game is weird

Culture in work environment should be good and fair to everyone.

But Hope this game is good and sells well so companies can invest in more single player titles, can do without anymore live service trash.
