Nintendo sends Valve DMCA notice to block Steam release of Wii emulator Dolphin

The GameCube & Wii emulator developers say the Steam release is "indefinitely postponed."

I don't know what the point of a Steam release would be anyway since you can just download emulators elsewhere.

gold_drake123d ago

yeh i dont quite understand it myself.

GAMERJET122d ago

The point would be having access to Steam features like achievements, play-time tracking, friends list, etc.

FinalFantasyFanatic122d ago

More or less, just ease of use, although it's stupidly easy to install even without a Steam release, I think a big issue might be cloud saves since it would be hosted on Steam servers.

They could have at least added DLSS at launch...

"They could have at least added DLSS at launch..."

Bethesda has a marketing agreement with AMD, so it´s nothing but expected that DLSS wouldn´t even be mentioned by them, specially at launch.

On topic: According to Todd Howard himself, it´s original release was planned to happen in 2021, but thanks to the acquisition by Xbox, Todd and his team was allowed 2 extra years to release the game in a far better shape.

Starfield is the most polished game ever released by Bethesda! Hopefully, TESVI´s release will be even better!

I took a break from playing due to other games releasing but Starfield definitely has its pain in the ass bugs & glitches.
