I’ll buy it if the story and writing is good. My last AA/AAA jrpg game was tales of arise and I didn’t enjoy it that much. It’s was an okey game nothing more.

Dude, what? They didn’t get FF7 Remake, but have Crisis Core Reunion. They didn’t get Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Elysium, Live A Live, Octopath 2, Tactics Ogre Reborn, Theatrhythm, and they sure as sh*t ain’t getting FF16.

I don’t know how in the holy f*cking hell you can tell those poor bastards that they don’t have the “right” to complain.

I mean… aren’t they though? FF7 Remake and FF16 aren’t exclusive to Sony’s platform, but there’s no typical timed exclusive deal, those are straight only on PlayStation and PC. I’m sure when the PS6 or 7 comes out one day there’ll be an FF7 Remake Complete and then it’ll go to whatever Xbox is calling an Xbox then.

the same would also be for ff7. sony and square have a long history together z ff7 was one of sonys best selling games bk in the ps1 days.

How do timed exclusivity deals work? Aren’t they made in order to make people buy the console and keep the game off permanently or for a short time on competitive platforms?

Isn’t that “keeping games off” of a platform by a deal made between publishers?
