Scarlet & Violet's Still Aren't Compatible With Pokémon Home - And That's a Good Thing

Trainers have been anxious to transfer their favorite Pokémon into Scarlet & Violet for a while now, but the greatest joy may be in the journey.

Inverno134d ago

No it's not a good thing. They've had months fix this game and allow HOME transfers, quit excusing it. Especially when people are paying for the shitty service. There's been enough time to get used to newer Pokemon so your reasoning is a horrible excuse.

Pokemon Scarlet And Violet DLC Trailer Apparently Used Fan-Made Music Without Permission

Nintendo has used fan-made music for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC trailer, but seemingly without the creator's permission.

Snookies1239d ago (Edited 39d ago )

LOL! Nintendo... The company that constantly uses legal threats against fan-made projects to shut them down. As soon as they catch wind of anything being used without permission... If this is in fact true, Nintendo is the very definition of hypocritical.

I just have to say, Microsoft may be awful for buying out the gaming industry. But, Nintendo has done things that have shocked me far worse than anything Microsoft has gotten away with.

I literally was just about to say the same thing

The fan who made the music should hit them with a copyright claim.

Double_O_Revan39d ago

Would not surprise me on the slightest if Nintendo sees it as "this music sounds like Pokémon music, therefore it belongs to us. Regardless of who made it."

They'd be the ones to have that warped sense of reality.

JEECE38d ago

If his version truly is just derivative of official Pokemon music, then their sense of reality might not be so warped. I mean, if a band releases a new song, and then someone does a slowed down acoustic cover of the song on YouTube, does the band have to ask that YouTuber's permission if they want to do an acoustic version of the song they wrote? I just heard about this and haven't listened and compared yet, but if this guy's music really is just a version of official Pokemon music that he didn't write, then this is a far cry from Nintendo just swiping someone's original music.

Nintendo this dude could sue you guys so give these people there compensation and official apology asap.

CrashMania39d ago

oh cone on ninty, this is like pot kettle black.

Kneetos38d ago

Having listened to both themes and the theme of area zero on loop for about an hour this isn't going anywhere

What's the argument? Someone made a fan arrangement of the pokemon company music, then when Pokémon re-arranged it only for it to sound similar to a fan creation of their own music, and Nintendo needs to be sued?

The tweet even said a snippet sounded familiar not a straight ripoff of their arrangements of the music
