Rogue-Lite Works Best as an Extra Mode

Rogue-lite games work pretty well as smaller projects, but bigger games should really consider just adding them as an extra mode rather than fully committing to the that kind of structure.

I think an outright concept of no big game rogue-lite is pretty severe. Returnal and Hades prove that the concept clearly can work, IMHO.

Imo yes. I want a regular story campaign, then the randomly generated roguelike can be on the side.

I enjoyed it, but it’s kind of a one and done for me. Like if you 100% it and I mean getting all the spirits… ohhh loudy that was a task, then it’s kind of hard to be motivated to replay it.
