Sony's biggest gamble reinvented an icon and transformed it into one of the most influential games around.
While most critics and gamers have praised his character arc, some of us can’t help but wonder one simple thing: Could the older, wiser Kratos stand a chance against his younger, more ferocious self?
Young Kratos seems more powerful than his future counterpart. Kratos mentions losing some of his previous powers from the Greek-saga in Ragnarok. However, some Santa Monica developers have stated that Old Kratos is stronger than his younger self.
Absolutely, young Kratos was still capable of jumping vertically. Something old Kratos seems completely incapable of.
Couldn't they just hug it out and old K could impart some wisdom and who to watch out for that will jack him up?!
The original games were iconic as well.
I mean for me personally still think god of war 3 was peak god of war, peak kratos just insane.
But ssm deserve a world of credit for somehow rebooting a franchise I was done with after 3 and didn't think they could make me love what came next.
An amazing series but I'm at the same stage I was with gow 3, I'm not really keen on more, let kratos ride off into the sunset as a gamin icon and give us a new ip
Please don't bother with a atreus, I dont want him
"Director Cory Barlog transformed one of gaming’s biggest examples of toxic masculinity into a repentant man seeking to live a peaceful life and raise a child away from the type of chaos and suffering that he once experienced."
Toxic Masculinity. of course
Kratos God of war 2018 was a nice balance between old and calm but Kratos God of war R was a bad version of Kratos. I am surprised that fans of Kratos have not complained about what they turned Kratos into....he turned into a yes-man in his own game.
Making him cry was a big no-no. He crying for being recognised for an event that was not portrayed properly did not feel earnt.
Now that they talk about Toxic masculinity put everything into perspective. Kratos has the epitome of masculine man
They are trying to reimagine Kratos into something more modern and be accepting to things.
you know you lost touch with reality, when you call the portrayal of The God of War "toxic masculinity" haha.
so stupid.
Love all of them!!!
