Indeed. I don´t know if it was intentional but Nintendo absolutely destroyed FFXVI presentation at State of Play, as of now it´s 4.6 Million views for Zelda´s latest trailer vs 4.3k for State of Play´s FFXVI presentation. That´s more than 10x the number of views. O.o

Just imagine what would happen if the Switch had the power of the PS5 and XS!

Since it's $69.99, you're better off buying game vouchers for $100, and getting another $59.99 game on the list. I picked TOTK, and Origami King. Which is better than I expected. It justified the price tag for TOTK. At least for me.

It looks like there are boss fights this time. TOTK looks to be an improvement but to be honest, I don’t know why BOTW was so revered. I’ve never heard a compelling argument for why it is the best game ever.

I know I’m in a small minority here. I put 120 hours into BOTW, and after reflecting back on it, outside done cool physics, there wasn’t anything else that made it outstanding or even a Zelda game.

Yet they took the risk to make breath of the wild completely different from the past Zelda games to the point that it’s one of the biggest complaints about it, hell they took a large risk with wind weaker when they made it cell shaded instead of being like past games and it was hated until people played it. Seriously, from the “Nintendo doesn’t get criticized” to the “Nintendo doesn’t like taking risks” makes it more concrete that you guys are actually meaning “Nintendo isn’t doing what I want them to do”

It's possible, but unlikely imo.

The only example of a "same console" Zelda outselling the first one on it, is Twilight Princess compared to WW.

And that's kind of a special situation, brought about by people really not liking aspects of the first game, and the second game being built to correct them.

I don't feel like TOTK is going to be AS stark a difference. It's looking to be the same experience, just polished and expanded.
