Resident Evil 4 Money Glitch Lets You Scam the Merchant for Over 4 Million Pesetas in New Game Plus

A new Resident Evil 4 money glitch can net players over 4 million in in-game currency at the beginning of an NG+ playthrough.

There's a difference between a glitch and an exploit, y'know?

This isn't a glitch. You literally have to do the following:

- Play through the entirety of the game without spending money and I'm assuming selling as much as you can and grabbing every treasure.

- You need to have gotten the rhinoceros beetle charm.

- Then at the last merchant stand, before you beat the game, buy all the first aid sprays you possibly can with the money you saved up.

- Then on NG+ you sell them all with the beetle charm.

What's the glitch exactly?

Agreed. And, by that point, nearly all my weapons were fully upgraded anyway. I barely needed money on my New Game+ run. I think I needed 200k worth to buy the final upgrade tickets for 2 weapons. I got that money in the first few areas from upgrading jewels into items and selling them. I had them done before the 1st boss fight.
Plus it calls for you to play the 1st run on assisted. If you’re even playing somewhat conservatively, you shouldn’t have any issue with weapon upgrades.

Same here, like each run if I grabbed all the treasures and sold items I was able to fully upgrade like 4 to 5 weapons. Then you can get Spinnels to give you the free bonus upgrade. Going for the platinum I have to do 5 or 6 runs anyways so there's really no need for the exploit on my end, but I can see if people just want to upgrade almost everything on a second playthrough doing this.

The game decided to end its service and operations?

That’s one way to shift blame

I mean… it was pretty underwhelming. They basically slapped on that overused “neon remaster” aesthetic that a bunch of older revivals have leaned on, cranked up the speed a bit, and called it a day. No real innovation, no fresh ideas, just a faster, flashier version of something we’ve already seen.
