The Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.62 is now live on PC, introducing Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode, DLAA and Intel XeSS suppport and more
Today CD Projekt announced its financial results for Q3, 2023, including some interesting information about Cyberpunk 2077 and the Witcher franchise.
Quite good numbers the DLC is amazing and was in my top 3 gaming experiences this year.
I wonder that attach rate is excluding sales on ps4 and x1 but does that include people who upgraded from PS4 to 5 and xsx etc as the attach rate is likely far lower if you include last gen owners who updated
Recently beat cyberpunk, the 2.0 update was on point fasho, the graphics still look.good asf, hopefully in the sequel there's more to do and interiors to explore

Great. I’ll wait until it’s as cheap as possible then will finally get it
Hopefully they’ve learned their lesson for the next game
For those who haven't played Cyberpunk 2077. Yes, they have fixed a lot of bugs but ultimately the fundamental mechanics and underlying technology and gameplay is still very dated for 2023 standards. It has a lot of lighting and ray tracing which for whatever reason means a good game to some reviewers but for me it is still a polished turd with a mediocre story/campaign and side missions. I know there is a desperate need for some kind of Blade Runner game in the gaming community but keep your expectations in check as this ain't it.
It's a shame the PS5 version comes with a code instead of being on disc... took a day 1 buy and made it buy cheap or I may just not buy at all
not sure if Im the only one but, just downloaded the update and it has been more than an hour patching the game in GOG and is at 90% , nice!! :D
It looks more realistic but I'm getting 30fps on 4k DLSS Quality. Ultra Performance gives me about 115 fps average but it looks to muddy and the lighting doesn't blend well with textures. Photo mode looks incredible. I can't really play the game like this because I can feel slight input latency. It's cool that this technology is available. I just hope it's not used to push next-gen GPUs.
On My 4090, i9 13900k with 64gb 6000mhz ram I get 60-80fps, the odd drop to around 58fps on quality mode, I can definitely live with that.
Performance and above all look too muddy for me but do give higher fps, looks bloody amazing regardless, the odd glitch speckley ray noise here and there but it is a very impressive work in progress.
Can't wait to see how they tweak it down the line....imagine what the next witcher will look and then the 5090.
This actually got me thinking into investing in a gaming pc finally. Not just for Cyberpunk, but Roblox too.
