CG writes:Cyberpunk themed VR action game, LONN released at the tail-end of last year (on PC), and seems to have been received very well from the PC VR community (currently 20% OFF in the Steam Easter Sale). However, developer SixSense Studios has expressed [to Cram-Gaming] a desire to bring the game to Playstation VR 2. Whilst not offering any official announcements at this time, it's unclear whether this is just something they would like to do, or a project currently in the making. We think it would make a perfect fit for Playstation VR gamers, and unlike some other upcoming cyberpunk VR games, shouldn't push the PS5 hardware too much converting from the PC version which runs buttery smooth. Take a look at some LONN gameplay to get an idea of what to expect and keep those fingers crossed they manage to bring it to PSVR 2.
CG writes: Due to the sheer number of video-game releases these days, often there are times when some games fall-under-the-radar. In the VR realm that is even more of a reality with the massive amounts of fluff that adorns Steam’s new releases pages week after week. Case-in-point, SixSense’s LONN which released at the tail end of 2022 for PC VR. Whilst receiving some positive praise in the Steam reviews, it still didn’t generate as much buzz as we expected. Hopefully then the game comes to Playstation VR 2 (developer SixSense have expressed their desire to make this happen) and reignites the flame.
PS VR 2 release is their best shot. Shouldn't even be a thought. Just do it. Steam has so much glut now, some might miss it.
As for the video, looks pretty good. Enemies could be harder to kill though. But the guy playing seems to have an erratic swivel built into his neck. Or very janky movements with his analog stick.
Someone should tell this guy who made this video that he has to keep his audience in mind when recording, jerky head movements in VR relate to vomit inducing video playback. keep your head as still as possible and slow down.
CG writes: Developer SixSense updated their cyberpunk themed VR action game LONN with a new Bounty Adventure mode. This addition in update 2.0 is a work in progress, with the team keen on expanding it. Unlike the Story Mode, this offers a procedurally generate set of levels with the aim of reaching a target and procuring weapons and ammo as you progress. It’s also rogue-like which means you lose everything if you are killed.
Keeping my eye on this for PSVR2. another one shaping up well in a similar vein is LOW-FI.

Nice to see longer gameplay tests being released for games like Lonn and Low-Fi - they're going to be awesome on PSVR2 and really scratch that cyberpunk itch.
