"The Austin-based (Texas, the US) indie games publisher Devolver Digital and Cape Town-based (South Africa) indie games developer Free Lives, are today very happy and thrilled to announce that their physics-driven gladiatorial VR sim “Gorn”, is now available for PSVR 2 (for the PS5) in glorious high definition for the PS5." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
GORN is a great popcorn video game. Nothing about it screams game-changer, but it’s so much fun to play you might spend more time with it than other more refined experiences. With plenty of weapons to decimate your enemies with and plenty of them to pulverize, GORN is certainly an enjoyable and outrageous game.
Hobbled by a disappointing lack of variety and questionable design decisions that feel rooted in the early days of home VR, Gorn fails to entertain.
GORN on PS VR2 plays exactly like it does on PS VR1. This a no frills port that misses an opportunity to improve on the original game.
Sigh… another port of a game thats been out on Quest for a while. Def should have waited before buying my psvr2
