Resident Evil 4 Sells Over 3 Million Units in First Two Days After Release

Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that new title Resident Evil 4 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and PC has sold over 3 million units worldwide.

They outsourced RE3 to developer K2 and they were going to do RE4. But thankfully the RE2 team took over.

K2 are probably doing the DLC though and i think that's something they can handle as i still liked RE3(just a little short for me).

Absolutely fantastic game!

I was burnt out on the OG and after modern improvements to the genre, I sort of began to dislike it.

But this, man, this game is sooooo good! Really glad to see sales are strong with this!

Excellent numbers for a solid remake.
Resi is probably one of the only games series where I play the game through multiple times, it’s masterfully crafted.

Question is: do they move on to remake Resi 5?

I’ll buy it when it has VR mode for PSVR2 . I’m actually glad it doesn’t have the mode now because I have too many games to play already and a bunch I want to buy still. Just flooded with games right now

2 and 4 were always my favs of the franchise so at least they did those justice lol. I just thought the nemesis in 3 was perhaps REs greatest villain, shame they didn’t do him justice :( but at least we have 2 and 4. The best ones

Capcom hit the jackpot with these remakes. Hope they stay humble and give us Code Veronica next. That game is criminally underrated!
