Jesus really? Damn I didn't know Assetto Corsa was that popular. Now that I look at the sales numbers and the sheer about of mods for the PC version I guess I can see it now.
Over 5 million by Dec 2022 on PS4 and 5 alone. ACC was in Paid Early Access since Sep 2018, fully released May of 2019 on PC. ACC came to consoles in Feb 2022.
5 million in about 9 months on one platform vs 28 million in 54 months on PC plus the PS4 and Xbox One versions coming out in 2020 and their next gen versions releasing Feb of 2022. So...
It does amount to a 100k unit per month sales bump over GT7 on PS4 and PS5 comparing the 5 million over 9 months to the 28 million over 54 months.
Cool.
Add PSVR2 support to ACC and I might play it.
Impressive series and well known for being challenging

Really impressive numbers.
There´re more racing simulators fans out there than most racing games studios acknowledges.
Wish AC1 was at least one X enhanced but it's only sold a lot because of its price
