After being in the pre-registration phase since last year, COD: Warzone Mobile is now available to download in Brazil on Android.
It's very rough. No where near as polished as cod mobile.
True, but COD Mobile was pretty much the same in the early days. Hopefully it will get better from here.
Players are not thrilled with the future prospects of cosmetics like these.
Scummy company and garbage tactics.
i agree hence why i do not get all the money sony is spending over making sure this ip is on there platform. Compared to the old titles numbers are less revenue is down and look at the other games in the revenue space cod is small. All these scumy moves they are doing is not making them genshin impact money or activisions candy crush numbers.
Scum company scum methods
So gross. Don't forget to buy some gun sounds and support Bobby Kotick everyone!
They should just play a sound effect of Bobby Kotick massaging his bunions every time you make a microtransaction purchase.
bobby needs that hooker hush money
People are blasting Activision for being an evil corporation on this, meanwhile everyone continues to fawn on pay to win games like Hunt: Showdown and Tarkov and treat them like they are a breath of fresh air.
I enjoy Hunt: Showdown BUT I’m not sure what characters you can buy that allow you to say, spawn in with more armour every time such as is the case here. I know Cain was criticised for blending into the environment too much and as a result they reworked the character model twice. EFT does have higher tiers which reward more resources and such, and it’s not my type of game but again, they aren’t pay to win, it’s merely skipping a portion of the grind, imo. Though, I may be wrong on that as I haven’t played much EFT and am just going off of what a mate who bought the top edition told me.
"they aren’t pay to win, it’s merely skipping a portion of the grind, imo." Lol that falls under the heading of pay to win. When I say pay to win, I don't literally mean you pay for armor that makes you invincible and a gun that one shots everyone. I mean that spending money affects gameplay. It's wild that a few years ago games like Middle Earth:Shadow of War and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 got raked over the coals for having systems where spending money allowed you to avoid grinding, but now supposedly hardcore shooters get a total pass for the same thing. Shows how quickly the gaming community is being tainted by the kids who grew up playing on mobile.
“Lol that falls under the heading of pay to win. When I say pay to win, I don't literally mean you pay for armor that makes you invincible and a gun that one shots everyone. I mean that spending money affects gameplay.” Something funny? Are you okay? Imo it does not fall under pay to win in this instance as you are comparing paying to have more armour, more pvp perks (UAV) on a permanent basis. Absolutely different from paying to start off with some bullets which by the way…deplete. Completely different to buying a character that comes with permanent buffs. You also didn’t answer how Hunt: Showdown is P2W. “It's wild that a few years ago games like Middle Earth:Shadow of War and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 got raked over the coals for having systems where spending money allowed you to avoid grinding,” Again, completely different to EFT. Why? Because EFT is advertised up front to get some bullets and stuff at the start for supporting the game, whereas BF2 showed players playing as characters under the guise they were all reasonably unlockable. There were not. That is, of course, unless you have years to grind. Bit of a difference.
“everyone”? I tell you what, I go on those comments and talk about pay-to-win and an army of whales will defend these games. They say things like it’s not pay to win if you have to complete the battle pass or git gud. They will defend their right to use cheats. Many folks like me will keep raising the alarm but the fact that 95% of players aren’t up in arms over this tells you a lot about the lack of human desire for true excellence.
Obviously I'm exaggerating with the "everyone." It's just annoying that these types of games get a pass. Like anytime a major studio game (like a Battlefield or COD) has purely cosmetic micro transactions, it gets trashed as corporate greed. I don't like any micro transactions, but I certainly don't want any that affect gameplay. Meanwhile every few months you'll see an article from PC Gamer or some similar site talking about Hunt Showdown as this gem of a game that the hardcore love, when it is far worse in terms of microtransactions than almost any major studio game.
I noticed that when I signed in to check out season 3. Immediately uninstalled and not wasting my time anymore. Luckily we have counter strike two coming out soon so that'll have to be my competitive FPS fix
This is what Sony is fighting for? Move on. Let’s get something better.
Sony are fighting for the free revenue they get from the games sales...
If they want that then put out new killzone socom moterstorm driveclub resistance fall of man siphion filter ape escape heck grab a shovel go out back to there grave yard of even more dead ips Mag two anyone? mag on ps3 was awesome
MAG was indeed awesome. But zipper is no more. A new socom and MAG would not be as good, unfortunately.
Honestly thr medium backpack and the unnecessary 4th slot aren't an issue although I don't like the potential for this to spread further and become things that impact gameplay more....
Here we are, this is the state of gaming, and people love it, this will make millions and they will think of even more ways to get money out of you, keep buying MT's people.
sprint button locked to cooldown but get it back faster with re-hydration coins like xp coins but these are sport drinks your character can have in game allowing sprint more often but only once per match. $2.99 each drink Just made that up but why the f not.
looking for the literal pay to win MT, you buy a few tokens, if you use one during a match, you just win
@hyper Remember diablo immortal infinite health $$$ builds? I also do believe there are mobile games that have that feature.
Well when you have all these people praising gimmick shooters like Tarkov and Hunt:Showdown as the next big thing and giving a pass to their egregious microtransactions, is it any surprise COD is moving towards that model?
Call Of Duty: Warzone comes to mobile in 2023.
