“TL;DR

The Enhanced Edition of Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge was released recently.
There were many improvements which made gameplay feel significantly more realistic and immersive.
Unfortunately, glitches and poor writing still take away from the game.“

While I want this game. Personally I think I’ll wait for a sale.

I didn't encounter a single glitch on my initial play through. I did get one going back through for some trophy clean up and it wasn't a big deal, I just got stuck and couldn't move in any direction or jetpack my way out of it. Hit the menu and traveled back to the cantina.

I enjoyed the demon for it. But I'll probably wait for a sale.

As a Die Hard Star Wars fan, it was easily worth the purchase for the upgraded visuals over the quest 2.

Im hoping there will be VR2 update for squadrons. That is a blast to play in VR.

Anomander818d ago

Agreed, VR2 could use a good Space VR game even if it's an updated port of one. Squadrons would be good.

Everspace comes to mind as well. Fun game and would look good with VR2.

I never played the Quest version. But Im intrigued by it. Space in VR sounds good right now but Im weighing this against other options.

Besides I got too many games on my plate at the same time right now. RE8, GT7, Pavlov, Moss book I, Horizon COTM at the moment. And really want to see whats all the hype about Beatsaber.

Beat saber is really fun. Im playing it on the VR1 since it hasnt received VR2 support just yet. Im really looking forward to it coming as the constant out of sync with the move controllers is getting annoying.

I had decided that I'll skip Beat Saber on VR2 until it goes on sale if it comes out. I have it already on Steam, and Quest 2. That's one game I wish it would just follow you from system to system, or just charge you a small fee to unlock it on that system an not have buy it all over again.

Yeah PSVR1 move controllers were definitely an issue compared to the standards of todays headsets. Playing Firewall I felt like I had to stay very still so i wouldnt have the camera lose my positioning which was taxing on the body.

Interested but I’ll wait for a bit , patches and probably a sale . Just too much on my plate right now , games and kids .

I don't know, I remember the whole "Resident Evil: Kitchen Demo" that was making people scream but it was just meh to me. The actual RE:7 in VR was a masterpiece though. I had bought PSVR pretty much for that game and it was totally worth it. I hope this game can bring me back that same kind of experience.

I wish we could have gotten a PSVR2 enhanced port of RE7 with full motion controls. Village and 4 are great fun to play on PSVR2, but 7 would be awesome to play in full VR.
