I wanna know about co-op, to me these kind of games are always more fun to play with friends. As a big zombie fan myself, I'm really hoping this game delivers. In my opinion games like Back 4 Blood and Dying Light 2 haven't quite lived up to the hype, so hopefully this game finally breaks that trend. We're in need of a badass zombie game.

I wouldn't even compare the 2 games

Number1TailzFan438d ago

If it's anything like the first I'll completely avoid it. The camera swaying was awful, I'm almost certain it was one of the only games to make me feel nauseous because of that. The game wasn't even that good.. L4D and Killing Floor were better, even if both of them ended up getting repetitive.

Palitera438d ago

Back 4 Blood is a tiny level based GAAS cash grab. Shouldn’t even be on the same phrase.

frostypants438d ago (Edited 438d ago )

Dying Light 2 was solid. B4B was a massive downgrade from the L4D games in every way but graphics. Every improvement they tried (hub area, cards, etc.) fell flat and the gameplay was a shadow of the games that inspired it. Zero memorable moments.

OK I was trying to stay pessimistic on this game with all the development trouble it has been through, but this looks phenomenal. the visuals, sound, atmosphere, and especially the FLESH system look like they come together to make the perfect pulpy zombie game. I'm officially hyped damnit.

GotGame818438d ago

Wait! What? You mean you're not pumped for the integration of Alexa? Lol! Kidding, although it is Alexa compatible.

Seriously, I'm in the same boat as you. I was pessimistic even though it was looking good. The more I see, the more I want this. I was skeptical of Hogwarts Legacy, but love it! It would be great if this game is as good as it looks.

This video and some recent previews have pretty much removed any concerns I had about this game. The skill cards thing seemed weird at first, but it really seems like it will allow us to play the way we want. I also just read a preview that pointed out that the nights are sufficiently dark and very creepy in spots. I was hoping the game would still have at least a hint of fear to it and it seems that is the case.

Fingers crossed you can remove the health bars and damage numbers. Huge immersion killer and honestly the gore should tell the story how close to death the enemies are. Get rid of those and it looks almost perfect to me.. looks like a serious sleeper hit is coming.

Dead Island released when I graduated high school. The groundbreaking trailer released when I was a junior. The development of this game is hilarious

I love being surprised in a good way!

Another Stealth Drop on Gamepass!

Let´s kill some Zombies!

Kornholic82d ago

Instead of helping the developers and publishers recuperate development and marketing costs by buying the games you are interested in so that they can keep creating new games in the future, you place the burden on PS and PC gamers (who actually buy games) to fund the game development.

That is Game Pass in a nutshell.

redrum0682d ago

Ok, so what's Sony doing with their Extra and Premium subscription then?

Lightning7781d ago

Valve gave this game away for free last week. You need to go after them?

You realize MS pays the devs to get the game on GP right?

Kornholic81d ago

Sony is offering a service where games that are past their self life can generate more income. That's not Sony's main strategy for games and gamers.

Game Pass is for many developers/publishers the only CHANCE to even make SOME money on Xbox platform. Xbox's main strategy is Game Pass, and Xbox gamers don't buy games the same way PS and PC players do, and that is not sustainable.

Not on PC Game Pass, for some reason?

bunt-custardly82d ago

Yeh, I checked that (sad face). Only option for PC gamers with Ultimate is to cloud stream.

Gamingsince198182d ago

It's on torent sites though so if you want it free like most xbox users just get it there

Asplundh82d ago (Edited 82d ago )

Free? Pretty sure I pay a monthly subscription to access the games.

Snookies1282d ago (Edited 82d ago )

Nah, I'm good on that man. I used to torrent games when I was younger, not anymore though. Not trying to get my $2000 PC infected with malware. Plus, I've got a decent job so I can afford to buy my games/subscriptions.

InUrFoxHole82d ago

That's crappy. Should be on both

Christopher82d ago

LIcensing to include PC is much more expensive than just console. Especially for a non-GaaS game.

Profchaos81d ago

But they want to grow gamepass on PC so really they should still try and license both it's not uncommon however e.g. red dead redemption 2, GTA v both came to console gamepass and xcloud but not PC.

Christopher80d ago

Both of the games you listed are very heavy on GaaS/seasonal MTX.
