Electronic Arts' Casual Entertainment division stated that they have signed an agreement with Wiley Publishing to bring games, based on the "For Dummies" how-to books, to PC and Nintendo DS.
I hope this doesn't open the floodgate of shovelware
it would be a shame if it did
EA FOR DUMMIES? DO WE REALLY NEED THIS?
I think it's a great idea for people who aren't really into videogames. I think it would be great for my wife. But I am a little worried that it would open the door to more crap that no one really wants to play.
All this and more to be followed by ReDumdency for Dummies. Seriously, you need a Seduku for dummies, as if the instructions were not simple enough or the concept? Doesn't Brain Training for dummies reveal your actual intelligence level before you even start the game? This XXXX for Dummies books have to really stop. Life is trial and error, not made with a manual.
I want Microsoft or Sony to get in on this.. With titles that real gamers would like to see. For instance.. Gears For Dummies, or WipEout HD For Dummies.. Could be great stuff
i guess it could, i dont know that its needed though
Anything that helps bring MORE gamers into the community is a good thing and should be thought of as "needed". IMO
How about Final Fantasy for Dummies... Those games are so complex, they are almost impossible to get into if you are not familiar with the genre!
who would have ever thought that video games would need a how to guide. seriously now, this is almost as bad as sex for dummies
DUMB! EA IS JUST TRYING TO MAKE MORE MONEY
Maybe.. but they can also help people through this program. I like it.. But to each his own
This is another grab for the EA money hat
EA r dummies
It's fine as long as they don't bring it to the 360.
It would be to hard to do that... the DS lends itself well to that kind of thing though
Umm... This is a little old. Brain Training, Poker, and Travel Games for Dummies are all already out, and have been for a few months.
hell EA need this book for them self's to learn how to make good quality games MADDEN, NEED FOR SPEED anyone??
