GameCentral reviews the Fractal update for No Man’s Sky on PS5 and enjoys one of the best virtual reality experiences PSVR2 has to offer.
Orbital update drops today, also bringing with it engine improvements and UI refresh.
If you're looking for 'must have' PSVR 2 games then look no further. These are the 10 titles every PSVR 2 owner should have in their library.
If you're wanting more PSVR 2 support, you should probably buy all of these games.
Speak with your wallet!
I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.
HelloGames:
Omega: Introducing Update 4.5
The OMEGA update invites everybody to embark upon a new shared interstellar expedition entirely for free, whether they already own No Man’s Sky or not. Featuring a complete overhaul of expeditions, new on-planet missions, claimable pirate freighters, and much more!
From 14:00 GMT, Thursday 15th Feb to 18:00 GMT, Monday 19th Feb, the entire Omega expedition will be open to everyone, entirely for free, even if you don’t own No Man’s Sky!
This is the best time for players old and new to come together and explore the universe.
It's awesome on PSVR2, so I can see how personal preferences could lead to this statement. I think it could be further refined and I've no doubt the devs will do just that, given their history.
It's something I'll dip in and out of over time for sure, with the occasional monster session. Anyone who hasn't played this game in the last 2 years needs to check it out. It's vasty expanded over an already expansive game, with loads more to do and it's good fun to play online too.
Weird title. No need to double down that they dislike Call of the Mountain when talking about a completely separate game.
I’m sure BOTH are great
It’s excellent on PSVR2. The hardware is just great, pick up and hop into VR through a single lossless cable connection. The only minor issue I (currently) have with NMS on PSVR2 is the visuals are running lower res than normal (textures and resolution) so it looks a bit soft (has nothing to do with the displays in the HMD). Controls, colors, performance are all fantastic. Loving PSVR2 so far! I’m willing to bet Hello Games will be updating this further to optimize the experience in the near future.
Not sure it’s “better” than Horizon COTM on a technical or VR optimized level, and they are very different experiences and both very solid titles to play day 1 on the system.
