Atomic Heart will not feature any ray tracing at launch even on PC, Mundfish confirmed to Wccftech, after years of promised features.
Microsoft may have begun internally testing Steam integration within the Microsoft Store environment, with the intention of eventually bringing it to the next-generation Xbox console.
No need for me to buy an Xbox anymore, last one i owned was 360 anyway. That and the original were good consoles. Everything is on PC now and I usually keep mine fairly modern so it's always going to outperform it, and I like to mess with apps and programs that you can't do on console so..
We already have xbox games integration, it's called Steam.
MS store is like Bing, no one wants it.
Makes sense doesn't it? If we are going to have Dell Alienware Xbox's and HP Xbox and Lenovo Xbox and Asus TuF Gaming Xbox PC's. A console like PC with a limited/customised windows with console form in mind.
The Creature Collector Fest event has come to steam until May 19. Here are some epic discounted games to scratch the critter gathering itch.
With a new, earlier release date on the horizon for Borderlands 4, could this be a hint as to when GTA 6 could be coming?
Sounds like purposely gimping a game because of consoles again..
I am still really happy they managed to push out a game that looks and runs great on PC on Day1, even without Ray-Tracing. Would have loved to see it ofc, but the cube-maps in the opening sequence also look pretty good.
Only issue I had with the game so far is that sync is broken and has to be activated in the Nvidia control panel, otherwise it has been perfect so far from a technical standpoint.
RT is a gimmick, never well implemented one
The leaked and cracked older Dev build still have ray tracing options though, some youtubers already did some test on it.
Probably due to stability and performance concerns,I'm pretty sure they would add it back in the retail build in the future with patch updates.
I also already did some basic test myself and it looks glorious but performance are pretty unstable when RT on.
