Some of the complaints are kinda eh, battles can get repetitive since it turn based. Huh battles can get repetitive in any game , action to rpg etc.

to be honest, the battle system, or how it looked and operatesz reminded me heavily on how mobile games are lol.

i played the demo and cancelled my copy right after. it being one piece does not mean ill buy anything from it just because.

I have the game, and I'm a big one piece fan. I even bought world seeker and pirate warriors 4. I hate to admit it, but it's boring AF. It's hard for me to stay focused on it. I hope it gets better, but I honestly doubt. It's also very restricting, definitely a linear game by the very definition. Something as simple as jumping over a wooden fence as high up as the character's knee, they won't let you do. Shortcuts? Nope, you'll have to run all the way around. It's definitely an average game.

One piece odyssey is extremely boring and linear. The dlc better be free to get me to come back to play it.
