From GameWatcher: "After the relative success of the fifth Project Zero (aka Fatal Frame) being remastered, Koei Tecmo is now bringing the fourth installment; Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, to modern PCs and consoles. This marks the first time it’s appeared in the West since its initial release 15 years ago, and the first time it has been on anything outside of the Nintendo Wii. We got a look at the opening chapters of what should feel like a fresh shot of ghost-snapping terror.
In an age when horror game remakes are prevalent, there’s something rather refreshing about getting a ‘new’ Project Zero game that understandably plays like it’s a step back from Maiden of Black Water. For many Project Zero fans old and new, this will be the first time they’ll have got their hands on the elusive Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, and it’s certainly got plenty to please fans with. At times, it’s like stepping into the series in its prime, but that comes with its own drawbacks."
Måns Lindman: "I'm glad I finally got the opportunity to indulge in the fourth installment of this beloved game series even though it really feels like it's old at its core, with the problems from that era of messy game mechanics and frustrating backtracking clearly shining through. However, with a nuanced gameplay - where I play as several different characters, innovative problem solving, a gripping story and at the risk of sounding tedious, a great atmosphere, the positives outweigh the negatives and for fans of the genre in general and the series in particular, Project Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is most likely a welcome addition to your gaming library."
Well it doesn't have guns and rifles like resident evil therefore low review scores
Famitsu: "Kirby's Dream Land Wii Deluxe topped the list for three consecutive weeks. This is a title released in 2011 with new copy abilities and subgames added. The deluxe version has new graphics and has become more beautiful, with a total of 283,744 units sold. [Project Zero] is a remastered version of the Japanese-style horror adventure game released in 2008, and the Nintendo Switch version and PlayStation 4 version ranked 4th and 7th respectively."

Good article that pretty much sums it up. FF4 is basically one of the series best. It’s probably up there with 2 and arguably better than 3. FF5 actually feels like it’s a step back for the series coming out of FF4. Here’s hoping for other future installments that take cues from the greatest ones.
Fatal frame one and two are the best this series has ever had. The rest are extremely terrible games. I don't even know why they decided to waste resources by bringing this travesty out. A remaster of one and two in a bundle would've been killer.
