No New FFXIV Expansions Planned to Release in 2023, Square Enix Confirms

FFXIV won't receive any expansions in 2023, but it isn't all doom and gloom for Square Enix's super-popular IP.

you don't need to know anyone that plays it. it's an mmo. on top of that, you can't play the entire game with friends anyways. there are solo instances where it disbands your party and some of the story stuff lasts a good amount of time. playing with friends isn't a make or break for this game at all.

Square enix is super busy this year 4 games releasing, forspoken just dropped, Ff16, Ff7 and octopath traveler 2. They get a pass this year for no expansion.
