This looks interesting. Rogue Games, the meanest publisher in all the West, and dastardly developer David Marquardt Studios have announced that award-winning twin-stick cover-based shooter Dust & Neon will arrive in town February 16 on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Switch gamers can pre-order the game today.
This robotic twin-stick shooter needs a little oil, but still gets its shots in.
(MP1st) Dust & Neon Review- a fast-paced combat delivers intense and satisfying gunplay, but it falls a little short in many other aspects.
Games Asylum: "We’ve been here before. No, not the fact that Dust & Neon is a former Switch exclusive making its way to new formats, but rather the concept of robots in the wild west. Both 1994’s Wild Guns and the popular SteamWorld series use this premise, along with the occasional episode of Futurama – all of which owe everything to 1973’s West World. However, when it comes to randomised twin-stick shooting featuring saloon-dwelling robots, it can proudly proclaim “first!”"
Looks pretty cool but as soon as I saw Roguelite... I am out. I just am not a fan of that approach.
