Dead Space Remake Xbox Series X Review | NoobFeed

NoobFeed Editor Azfar Rayan writes - Dead Space Remake isn't simply a remake; it's a whole new experience. It's the perfect example of the horror genre at its finest. EA Motive showed to be capable, and they did a great job, adding to and improving the game without interfering too much with the gameplay or the plot. It's undoubtedly the most refined and improved version of one of the most terrifying games ever created.

Though the game looks good on Xbox iam upset with a few things. One I hate the 2D map it completely ruins the asthetic of the game world. Two some of the dialog has changed to cringe levels or has not been improved. Three the inclusion of security access completely ruins the mood of survival in the game. The backtracking to gain access to these areas and boxes are worthless. Not to mention the boxes don't even show on the map so prepare to guess your way to the location of missed boxes while getting into fights that make the trek a chore. Four the creatures are much stronger than before even to get a limb off it can cost you half your ammo even if your leveled up. Not to mention that they now have a habit of spawning in what used to be safe zones. The areas where you can save are no longer safe. I was nearly killed multiple times by a surprise spawn when I was in the middle of saving. Five there's no HDR settings on Xbox none what's so ever. Listen iam a huge fan of dead space and for 75 dollars this remaster is very flawed. Even the new gravity controls for flight are a pain and are dizzying. I can see why the old controls were chosen. I don't know how this game is getting high 9s but no a solid 7-8 at most from my perspective. I prefer the original at this point. Very disappointed with this version. I have to keep in mind I want to support all things dead space in the hopes they revitalize the franchise. But right now I despise this version and feel ripped off.

Alan Wake 2 goty is their answer.

Nowadays, if you release your game in late December, it will be automatically GOTY. If Alan Wake 2 is released in January, it will be forgotten in a couple of months.

That is not why it works at all there is a cutoff point for GOTY hense Spider-Man 2 not beign nominated for anything at the golden joysticks or the game awards
